Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible to store automatically the predetermined quantity of water in a bathtub by a method wherein in the titled device, a flow rate valve adopted to interrupt communication between an inlet port and a bath side outlet port of the device is provided. CONSTITUTION:When a water flow control handle 34 is turned, a cam 14 is rotated to move a valve shaft 20' upward to thereby open a relief valve (d). Further, with the upward movement of the valve shaft 20', a changeover valve section (b1) is opened by a hooking ring 25 so that a mixture of waters is flowed into a main flow passage 1a and is discharged into the bathtub B through a bath water port. Simultaneously with the opening of the changeover valve section (b1), an impeller 14 is rotated and the rotation of the impeller is transmitted to a cam 12. As a result, the valve shaft 20' moves down into the recess 12a of the cam 12 to keep the changeover section (b1) opened until the relief valve (d) is closed. Then a valve body 11 of the changeover valve section (b1) is lowered to come into close contact with a valve seat 10 by the thrust force of a spring 22.
