To provide a bathing aid by which the space in a bathtub can be extensively used, and which is breakdown-free and can be used safely, particularly can be simple and easily maintained to be always kept clean.
The device is provided with a base frame 5 placed on the top face of a bathtub, a driving mechanism 6 provided in the base frame 5, a seat part 7 on which a subject of nursing care sits, and suspending members 9 which suspend right and left edges of the seat part 7, and in which freely windingly/ unwindingly sag down by a driving mechanism 6 to suspendingly hold the seat part 7. The device is also attachably/detachably provided with a charging part unit. Thereby, a battery is removed and the other part in the base frame 5 in the bathtub 2 can be wholly washed with high-pressure water or the like. A cleaning can be conveniently performed and the generation of breakdown to be caused by submersion of the charging part can be prevented when cleaning.
