PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathing apparatus capable of easily rescuing a bathing person even when an emergency such as a power failure occurs.SOLUTION: A bathing apparatus 1 is an apparatus for immersing a bathing person M in hot water in a bathtub 11 while the bathing person M is laid on a stretcher T. The bathing apparatus 1 comprises: a stretcher base 14 for placing the stretcher T thereon; tilting means 30 for changing the inclination angle of the stretcher base 14; and emergency tilting operation means for manually operating the tilting means 30 to actuate, when the tilting means 30 does not start normally.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
