PURPOSE: To provide a device to enable a patient to take a bath in a bathtub arranged on the side of a medical bed by safely and easily moving the patient from the bed.

CONSTITUTION: In this bathing device for a bathtub added to a medical bed to enable a patient to take a bath by moving it up to a bed side use position from a housing position under the medical bed, the device has a support shaft 13 rotatably and horizontally supported almost in parallel to the bed and a flexible sheet material 16 whose one end is locked on the bed and other end is wound round the support shaft on the inverse side of the bed 10 by sandwiching between them a bathtub 11 in a use position.
