Abstract:
To provide a high-precision bathometer, by which precise depth of water can be found, without being influenced by wind, etc.
An ultrasonic sensor 1, which measures the depth of water of a water surface S to be measured, and a cylindrical windshield hood 3 which surrounds a part of the water surface S, are provided. In a brim part 4 of the under opening end of the hood 3, at least two water-entering cutouts 6 are formed, and the ultrasonic sensor 1 is fitted to the ceiling part 5 side of the hood 3.
