Abstract:
To provide a bathroom remote control device capable of securely transmitting an infrared signal to an apparatus by transmitting an infrared signal well.SOLUTION: A bathroom remote control device includes: a housing 2 fixed to a vertical wall surface Bw of a bathroom B; and an infrared transmitting unit 11 for transmitting an infrared signal for control of a device A. The infrared transmitting unit 11 includes: bullet-shaped infrared light emitting diodes 9, 10; light emitting diode housings 7, 8 accommodating infrared light emitting diodes 9, 10; and an infrared transmitting member 6 covering the light emitting diode housings 7, 8. When a back surface of the housing 2 is assumed to be a reference surface s, the infrared light emitting diodes 9, 10 are accommodated in the light emitting diode housings 7, 8 in such a manner that a longitudinal axis x is inclined with respect to the reference surface s.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
