A grill 102 installed in front of the body of a bathroom heater/ dryer 100 has air outlets 240-243 on four circumferential sides and hot air blowing direction is set by respective louvers 244-247. A heating section contained in the body case 132 is formed in U-shape having three sides and comprises a heat exchanger 138 for exchanging heat between the air in a bathroom or the like and hot water circulated from a heat source machine through hot water piping, and a circulation fan 139 for sucking the air in a bathroom, or the like, and delivering it while circulating through the heat exchanger 138. Furthermore, a buffer space is ensured between the body case 132 and the heat exchanger 138 and hot from the heat exchanger 138 is blown from the air outlets 240-243 through the buffer space.
