To provide a bathtub heat insulation member wherein deterioration of heat insulation property of insulating heat of hot water within the bathtub is suppressed while preventing water leaked from the mounting portion of a piping joint member mounted to the wall of the bathtub through the wall from reaching the skeleton of the building.
The bathtub heat insulation member 50 includes: a heat insulation body portion 51 where a housing portion 52 for housing the bathtub 16 is formed; an opening 54 formed at a position corresponding to an adaptor 40 for additional heating which is mounted to the wall 16A of the bathtub 16 of the heat insulation body portion 51 through the wall 16A; and a water-receiving pan portion 60 integrally formed with the heat insulation body portion 51 and positioned under the outer side of the opening 54. Therefore, the deterioration of the heat insulation property of the insulating heat of the hot water within the bathtub 16 is suppressed while preventing the water leaked from the mounting portion of the adaptor 40 for additional heating from reaching the skeleton of the building.
