Abstract:
To provide batter mix flour with which deep-fried food having more excellent taste and palate feeling can be easily cooked.
The batter mix flour includes pulverized pregelatinized cereal. A method for producing deep-fried food-like food or deep-fried food includes: (a) a process of mixing food material with water or water-containing liquid to add water to the food material; (b) a process of mixing the food material after addition of water in the process (a) with the batter mix flour to coat the food material with the batter mix flour; and (c) a process of baking the batter mix flour-coated food material obtained through the process b by bringing the food material into contact directly with a heater or deep-frying the food material in oil.
