To provide a battery wherein a plurality of batteries can be connected easily in series while arranged in the same direction, and from which a large current can be taken out.
The battery 1 is provided with a battery main body 2 and a conductive member 3 installed at the upper part of the battery main body 2. The conductive member 3 covers the upper part of the peripheral face 2b of the battery main body 2 throughout the nearly half circumference or more and has an electric connection part 31 to be electrically connected to the peripheral face 2b and a protruded part 32 protruding from the electric connection part 31 to the upper part of the upper face 2a of the battery main body 2. Then, a first electrode bolt 4 is installed on the upper face 2a of the battery main body 2, and a second electrode bolt 5 is installed on the protruded part 32 of the conductive member 3.
