Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery that can surely suppress overcharging without affecting the performance of the battery.SOLUTION: A battery 1 has a battery element 10 connected to a positive electrode terminal 11 and a negative electrode terminal 12, a container 16 which is connected between the positive electrode 11 and the negative electrode terminal 12 in parallel and filled with redox shuttle agent which induces an oxidation reduction reaction under specific potential or more, and at least one first electrode 17a connected to the positive terminal 11 and at least one second electrode 17b connected to the negative electrode terminal 12, at least parts of the first electrode 17a and the second electrode 17b being disposed in the container 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
