Abstract:
To provide a battery case for a vehicle capable of enhancing the strength of beam members while reducing the number of components.
A battery case for a vehicle includes a tray member (22) to receive a battery (38), and one or more beam members (30) arranged in at least one of width and longitudinal directions of the tray member, the beam members supporting the tray member and having a recess (50) formed therein. The tray member (22) comprises a bottom wall (58) closing an aperture plane of the recess of the beam members to form a closed cross-section, the bottom wall being constituted of a continuous metal plate forming a bottom plate of the tray member.
