Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve contribution of a battery of an electric vehicle in equalization of power demand by effectively controlling power consumption in the electric vehicle, before the electric vehicle is connected to a charge/discharge PCS.SOLUTION: A battery charge/discharge system 1 has an EV information management apparatus 30 which can communicate with an electric vehicle 20 and a power management system 10. The EV information management apparatus 30 transmits a power consumption suppression instruction to the electric vehicle 20, on the basis of a charge/discharge plan acquired from the power management system 10 and residual quantity of a battery 21 which is acquired from the electric vehicle 20. The electric vehicle 20 has a vehicle power management device 27 for controlling the electric vehicle 20 so that power consumption of the electric vehicle 20 can be reduced, on the basis of the power consumption suppression instruction from the EV information management apparatus 30.
