Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the degree of contribution of a battery in an electric vehicle to leveling of power demand in the case of excessive power supply, by controlling rechargeable capacity of the battery in the electric vehicle before the electric vehicle is connected to a charge/discharge PCS.SOLUTION: A battery charge/discharge system 1 comprises an EV information management device 30 capable of communicating with an electric vehicle 20 and a power management system 10. The EV information management device 30 transmits a battery rechargeable capacity increase instruction to the electric vehicle 20 on the basis of a charge/discharge plan acquired from the power management system 10 and a remaining amount and rechargeable capacity of a battery 21 acquired from the electric vehicle 20. The electric vehicle 20 comprises a vehicle power management device 27 for controlling the electric vehicle 20 so as to promote decrease in the remaining amount of the battery 21 of the electric vehicle 20, on the basis of the battery rechargeable capacity increase instruction from the EV information management device.
