PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for charging a battery.SOLUTION: A system comprises: a first battery having a Lithium-based chemical property; a second battery having the Lithium-based chemical property and having nominal voltage different from first nominal voltage; and a battery charger operable to charge the first battery and the second battery. In electric combination comprising: the first battery having the Lithium-based chemical property; the second battery having the Lithium-based chemical property and having the second nominal voltage different from the first nominal voltage; and the battery charger operable to charge the first battery and the second battery, a method of charging the battery includes the steps of: electrically connecting the battery charger and the first battery; charging the first battery; electrically connecting the battery charger and the second battery; and charging the second battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
