To provide a battery that accurately executes temperature detection of a battery cell or a charge/discharge control switch or the like over a wide range while suppressing an increase in cost and controls operation of the battery cell by using the detection result.
A battery control device includes: TH1, TH2, respectively, whose resistance value changes due to a temperature change of a battery cell 2 or the like; a first voltage-dividing circuit 32 including an R1 connected in series with the TH1; a second voltage-dividing circuit 33 including an R2 connected in series with the TH2; and a control substrate 3 that controls a charge/discharge control switch 3a so as to electrically connect an external apparatus to the battery cell 2 when a reference voltage is applied to one voltage-dividing circuit after switching between the first voltage-dividing circuit 32 and the second voltage-dividing circuit 33 such that a voltage value applied to the TH1 and TH2 according to a voltage-dividing ratio with the R1 or the R2 is changed in proportion to a temperature change of the battery cell 2 or the like, and when the temperature detected on the basis of voltage-dividing output in the battery cell 2 or the like is not less than a first temperature and not more than a second temperature.
