To insulate heat of plural batteries.
A battery control device 1 comprises plural charging/discharging devices 3 connected to a private power network 2. Batteries 12 of electric vehicles 11 are connected to the charging/discharging devices 3 for charging. A control device 7 is provided with a temperature evaluation part 21 for evaluating temperatures of the batteries 12. The temperature evaluation part 21 determines a heat-insulation battery that requires heat insulation. The control part 7 is provided with a charging/discharging control part 22 for controlling charging/discharging of the batteries 12. The charging/discharging control part 22 controls the charging/discharging devices 3 so that the insulation battery that can be discharged is discharged. Furthermore, the charging/discharging control part 22 controls the charging/discharging devices 3 for charging the insulation battery that can be charged. As a result, a heat-insulation current required for heat insulation is conducted by charging and discharging between the heat-insulation batteries, and the heat-insulation battery can be heat-insulated by self-heating.
