Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery cooling device suppressed in occurrence of dry-out in an evaporator.SOLUTION: A battery cooling device includes a compressor, a condenser connected to the compressor, an expansion valve connected to the condenser, and an evaporator 4 connected to the expansion valve, and comprises a first refrigerant C1 circuit for circulating a first refrigerant C1, a circulation pipe which accommodates the evaporator 4 inside and in which a gaseous second refrigerant C2 is circulated, and a second refrigerant C2 circuit disposed in the circulation pipe and including a battery and a blower. The evaporator 4 includes a supply portion for supplying the first refrigerant C1, a first plate 23 including a plurality of first cooling pipes 23, a tank connected to the plurality of first cooling pipes 23, and a second plate 24 connected to the tank, disposed at an upstream side in the circulating direction of the second refrigerant C2 with respect to the plurality of first cooling pipes 23, and including a plurality of second cooling pipes 24 arranged in the circulating direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
