Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a battery cover with improved maintenance works. CONSTITUTION: On a battery tray 1 a battery 3 is placed, which is equipped with a plus terminal 4, minus terminal 5, a liquid refilling hole 6 fitted with cap 7, and an indicator 8. The body 11 of this battery cover concerned is provided with an opening in the undersurface, and a flange directed outward is formed. In the oversurface of the cover body 11, an upper opening 14 is formed largely as mating with the cap 7, plus terminal 4, minus terminal 5, and indicator 8. As rising upright, a flange 15 is formed around this upper opening 14, and a notch 16 is provided in the part mating with the plus terminal 4, and a contacting surface in contact with the oversurface of the battery 3 is formed on the rear surface. A position control part 21 is provided in the upper part of the side face of the cover body 11, and below it a swell-out part 23 is formed which swells out through a step 22, and an air chamber is internally provided in the gap with respect to the battery 3. A sealing member 26 is affixed to the lower part of the body 11.
