Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine presence or absence of abnormality in a secondary battery, and to determine a degree of deterioration when the abnormality exists.SOLUTION: A power supply 200 allows a pulsating current including a DC current component and an AC current component to flow between a positive electrode and a negative electrode of a secondary battery 201. In this case, a determination voltage generation unit 110 extracts an AC voltage component included in a voltage generated between the positive electrode and the negative electrode of the secondary battery 201. The determination voltage generation unit 110 generates a determination voltage for determining the presence or absence of abnormality in the secondary battery 201 and the degree of deterioration, based on the AC voltage component. An abnormality determination unit 120 determines presence or absence of abnormality in the secondary battery 201, based on the determination voltage and a predetermined threshold voltage. Then, the abnormality determination unit 120 generates a display voltage of a level for showing that the secondary voltage 201 is normal, or a display voltage of a level corresponding to the degree of deterioration of the secondary battery 201. A deterioration display unit 130 displays the presence or absence of abnormality in the secondary battery 201 and the degree of deterioration, based on the display voltage.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
