Abstract:
To provide a battery device that can properly discharge a battery to which abnormality occurs.
A battery device comprises: batteries 2a-2d in which a pair of electrode tabs 204, 205 electrically connected to a power generation element are introduced from a film-like exterior member including the power generation element; and short-circuit means 6a-6d having an external short-circuit for externally short-circuiting the pair of electrode tabs. When the batteries 2a-2d are expanded, the short-circuit means 6a-6d are mechanically deformed together with expansion of the batteries 2a-2d into contact with the pair of electrode tabs 204, 205, and externally short-circuit the pair of electrode tabs 204, 205 via the external short-circuit.
