To provide a battery drive control device for heating equipment for extending a life of a battery without feeding an extra current into the load of the heating equipment using the battery as a power source.
The battery drive control device 52 comprises a control circuit 40 having a programmable microprocessor and a memory, the battery 41 as the power source, a booster circuit 42 for driving the control circuit 40, a voltage monitoring circuit 50 having resisters Ra, Rb, a first restricting resister R1, a second restricting resister R2, and a change-over switch SW1 to be controlled by the control circuit 40 in accordance with voltage monitored by the voltage monitoring circuit 50. An optimum drive control current can be supplied into the load 65 with the change-over switch SW1 turned on in accordance with the detected battery voltage. When the battery voltage is high, no extra current is fed.
