Abstract:
To ease maintenance in an end plate of a battery.
The end plate 20 is molded by injection molding with resin mixed with glass fiber or the like. The end plate 20 includes at least one constraining hole 42b to constrain each unit cell 10 in constructing the battery 5, and also includes a collar 50 to fit the constraining hole 42b and formed of high rigidity material. On the surface of the end plate 20 contacting with the multilayered unit cells 10, a plurality of ribs are favorably formed to form a flowing passage of a cooling medium. The plurality of ribs are favorably arrayed parallel in one direction with almost equal intervals.
