Abstract:

To provide a battery inspection method and a battery inspection apparatus which can reduce loads to a battery and can quickly inspect a deterioration state of the battery.

The battery inspection method includes a measurement frequency and relational expression derivation step S10, an impedance measurement step S11 and a determination step S13. The measurement frequency and relational expression derivation step S10 derives one frequency in which an absolute value of measured impedance coincides with derived internal resistance as a measurement frequency. Further, the step S10 measures input/output characteristics of the battery and derives a relational expression of the impedance and the input/output characteristics in the measurement frequency. The impedance measurement step S11 applies an AC voltage of the measurement frequency to the inspection target battery and measures the impedance. The determination step S13 determines a deterioration state based on the measured impedance. Thereby, flow of a large current is unnecessary and measurement may be performed only in one measurement frequency. Thereby, loads to the battery can be reduced and the deterioration state of the battery can be quickly determined.
