Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the inverse connection of a battery, without affecting the minimum operation assurance voltage of electronic equipment by recharging the voltage, when the electronic equipment is not operating, and using the voltage as a reference voltage when the electronic equipment is operated for detecting the inverse connection of the battery.
SOLUTION: A reference voltage V1 of a reference voltage P1 is set, so that it becomes smaller than the minimum operation assurance voltage of electronic equipment, a reference voltage V2 of a reference power supply P2 is set so that a total voltage when one battery is inversely connected become larger, and a reference voltage V3 at the positive input terminal side of a voltage comparator COM P2 is set so that a total voltage E0, when the battery is normally connected becomes equal to voltage when a switch SW is in on-state in the case of the same voltage as the total voltage, when one battery is inversely connected. The voltage V0 when the switch SW is on-state becomes larger than the reference voltage V1 of the reference power supply P1, the voltage V0 when the switch SW is on-state is larger than the reference voltage V3, but the voltage V0 when the switch SW is ON becomes smaller than the reference voltage V2 of the reference power supply P2, thus detecting the inverse connection of the battery.
