Title:
BATTERY-LESS LIGHT EMITTING DEVICE EMITTING LIGHT AND SOUND SIMULTANEOUSLY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2005287741
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a battery-less light emitting device (a wind chime) capable of generating light and sound at the same time by wind force applied from outside without requiring a power supply, and changing the sound volume and light intensity according to the power of the wind force.

The wind chime 10, as one example, comprises a hollow sound generating part 11, a hammer part 12 disposed inside a hollow part 11a of the sound generating part 11 for generating sound in the sound generating part by striking against the sound generating part with wind, a wind receiving part 13 connected to the hammer part 12 via a string 14, and the string 14 connected to the sound generating part 11 for hanging the wind chime 10 from a support member such as a ceiling or a clothes pole to be hung in the air. In addition, a stress luminescent film 15 including a stress luminescent material is formed on the inner wall of the hollow part 11a of the sound generating part 11. Accordingly, the wind chime 10, receiving the wind force from outside, can generate light and sound at the same time.
