Abstract:
To effectively utilize storage periods of batteries.SOLUTION: A battery cellar 2 comprises: a storage unit 21 for storing a plurality of secondhand batteries 9; an AC/DC converter 22 and a DC/DC converter 23 that are electrically connected between a power system 5 and the plurality of secondhand batteries 9 stored in the storage unit 21; and a server 20 for controlling the AC/DC converter 22 and the DC/DC converter 23. The server 20 controls the AC/DC converter 22 and the DC/DC converter 23 according to a demand response request from the power system 5 and evaluates deterioration degrees of the plurality of secondhand batteries 9 on the basis of voltage and current of the plurality of secondhand batteries 9 charged/discharged by the AC/DC converter 22 and the DC/DC converter 23.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
