Abstract:
To provide a battery management system can adjust charging current.
The battery management system includes a monitoring circuit and a charger. The monitoring circuit monitors a battery pack equipped with a plurality of cells, and can operate to check the unbalanced conditions of the battery pack in each of the plurality of cycles. The charger is able to control the charging current to the battery pack, receive monitoring data from the monitoring circuit, and adjust the charging current from a fist level in a former stage to a second level lower than the first level, in response to the detection of the unbalanced condition in the present cycle.
