Abstract:
To provide a battery member suitable for a separator of a non-aqueous battery, especially for a lithium primary battery, secondary battery, and paper battery and to provide a battery using this battery member.
A battery member is constructed of a porous body made of high molecular polymer having a three dimensional continuous reticular structure, and a mean cell diameter D of a cell constructing the reticular structure is larger than a mean communication diameter (d) of the communication part connecting the cells to each other. In a battery, this battery member holding an electrolyte in the reticular structure of the porous body is installed as a separator.
