PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery module capable of preventing the decrease of reliability and durability by reducing the electrode displacement.SOLUTION: A battery module 100 is a battery module mounted on a movable body such as an electric vehicle which includes a secondary battery 10 including an electrode member 12 as a power generation element and a housing case 50 for storing the secondary battery 10. In a horizontal plane (XY plane) including a travel direction D of the movable body, an electrode displacement direction (winding axis direction J1) of the secondary battery 10 is inclined with respect to the travel direction D of the movable body.
