Abstract:
This battery module 1 comprises an arrayed body 2 of battery cells 11, and a constraining member 3 for applying onto the arrayed body 2 a constraining load in the arraying direction of the battery cells 11. The arrayed body 2 is provided with, for each battery cells, a temperature control member 41. Each temperature control member 41 comprises a plate-shaped base 42, and a plurality of ribs 43 arrayed on one of the surfaces of the base 42. Each temperature control member 41 is disposed relative to each of the battery cells 11 in such a manner that the ribs 43 are in contact with a side surface 12a in the arraying direction of the battery cells 11. In each of the plurality of ribs 43, at least a portion of a side surface 43b oriented toward the center side of the arraying direction of the ribs 43 is an inclined surface K inclining from the center side to the outer side in the arraying direction of the ribs 43.
