Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery monitoring device capable of rapidly detecting a closing failure of an output side switch.SOLUTION: A battery monitoring device comprises: a capacitor circuit 40 having a capacitor C1; multiple input-side switches SH for applying voltage of a battery cell 10 to both terminals of the capacitor C1; a voltage detection circuit 60 for detecting a potential difference between both terminals of the capacitor C1; multiple output-side switches SL for applying voltage between the terminals of the capacitor C1 to the voltage detection circuit 60; switch control means 80 and 70b for respectively controlling the switches SH and SL; and closing failure determination means 70c for determining whether or not a closing failure occurs to the output-side switches SL, on the basis of the voltage detected by the voltage detection circuit 60 at the time of applying the voltage of the battery cell 10 to the capacitor C1 through the input-side switches SH while turning off each of the output-side switches SL.
