Title:
BATTERY MOUNTING STRUCTURE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013067251
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a battery mounting structure which can suppress a battery and a rod from interfering with each other due to an inertial force acting on the battery in head-on collision without being restricted in battery arrangement.

A plurality of ribs 40 protrude toward vehicle rear from a center inner wall of a flange part 39A of a tray 38 in a vehicle width direction. When the inertial force acts on the battery 10 in a vehicle front (in a direction of an arrow A ) in head-on collision, a front wall 11A of the battery 10 contacts with end surfaces 40A of the ribs 40 in surface. Accordingly, the surface contact of the battery 10 with ribs 40 suppresses the interference of a J bolt 24 with the battery 10. Moreover, the structure is not intended to move the J bolt 24 to suppress the interference of the J bolt 24 with the battery 10, so the arrangement of the battery 10 is not restricted.
