Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack designed such that a lead plate can securely be temporarily fixed to an end face of a battery holder without applying load on the lead plate and without complicated work processing, and to provide a manufacturing method for it.SOLUTION: A battery pack comprises: a battery; a battery holder with a holding cylinder accommodating the battery; and a lead plate connected to an electrode terminal of the battery. In the battery pack, an end face of the battery holder has a guide part for guiding a lead plate. The guide part has an opening communicating with the holding cylinder. An electrode terminal of the battery is connected to the lead plate so as to be exposed from the opening. Further, the guide part has a projection, projecting outside. The lead plate has a hole through which the projection extends. While the projection extends in the hole, the leading end of the projection is plastically deformed by press working, thereby forming a lock part. Alternatively, the leading end of the projection is melted by heat processing, thereby forming a lock part. The lead plate is arranged between the guide part and the lock part provided on the projection.
