Abstract:

To heighten performance of a battery pack by improving its structure.

A method for operating the battery pack including a battery pack for a power tool is provided. The battery pack can include a housing, a first cell supported by the housing while having a fixed voltage, and a second cell supported by the same housing while having a fixed voltage. The battery pack also can be connected to the power tool, and can be operated to supply power in order to operate the power tool. This operating method can include a step to discharge either one of the first cell and the second cell until the voltage of the cell becomes substantially equal to the voltage of the other cell.
