To enable to exhaust gas generated from a battery cell surely outside a battery pack, and at the same time, facilitate designing, manufacturing, and assembly of a gas opening chamber for exhausting gas generated from the battery cell outside the battery pack.
The battery pack is provided with a case 3 housing a plurality of battery cells 2, a gas opening chamber 4 set inside the case 3 in separation from a battery chamber 10 housing the battery cells 2 coupled with a sealed container 5 each constituting the battery cell 2, a blow-out valve (a one-way valve) 14 fitted between the gas opening chamber 4 and each sealed container 5 and opened on condition that the sealed container 5 becomes higher-pressured than the inside of the gas opening chamber 4, and an exhaust tube 15 communicating the gas opening chamber 4 with outside air.
