Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack that is able to restrict cooling of a battery in a case by cold air via a gas exhaust duct located outside and via its passage.SOLUTION: A battery pack 1 comprises: a plurality of single batteries 3 composed of secondary batteries; a pack case 2; an external duct 52 extending outside from the pack case 2; and an electric heater 6 that increases the temperature of the external duct 52 in a place located outside the pack case 2. The pack case 2 has a battery accommodating chamber 23 accommodating a plurality of single batteries 3, and an exhaust chambers 510 through which gas expelled from each single battery 3 passes, in it as independent chambers not communicating with each other. The external duct 52 is provided outside the pack case 2, and composes an external passage 50 communicating with the exhaust chamber 510.
