Abstract:

To provide a battery pack in which discharge of carbon monoxide generated within a case upon the abnormality in a secondary battery to the outside of the case can be suppressed.SOLUTION: A battery pack 14 comprises an exhaust duct 27 connected to a discharge port 26 of a case 15, and an air supply port 27c which is provided in the exhaust duct 27 for making air flow into the exhaust duct 27. The battery pack 14 also comprises a check valve 30. The check valve 30 allows air to flow from the air supply port 27c into the exhaust duct 27 when an inner pressure of the exhaust duct 27 becomes a negative pressure and, on the other hand, suppresses discharge of carbon monoxide which flows in the exhaust duct 27, from the air supply port 27c. The battery pack 14 further comprises an opening/closing section 28 for making the inner pressure of the exhaust duct 27 negative with respect to an inner pressure of the case 15 at a time when an inner pressure of a secondary battery 20 is released.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
