Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a battery pack from becoming abnormal.
CONSTITUTION: Since the drain of a field effect transistor(FET) 4 for preventing overcharging having a parasitic diode 4A oriented in the direction in which no charging current flows is connected to one terminal of a secondary battery F and the source of the FET 4 is connected the ground terminal GND of a CPU 1 which controls the turning on/off of FETs 3 and 4, the potential at the terminal GND of the CPU 1 becomes equal to that at the terminal EC- of a load/battery charger 5 in both the turning on and turning off states of the FET 4.
