Six pieces of secondary batteries 13-18 are mounted on a board 19 in the interior of a battery package 10. Grid-like reinforcing ribs 28 and 29 are provided on an inner side of the case body 12. Support parts 27 of a circular-arc shape along an outer circumference of the secondary battery are formed in the reinforcing ribs 28 and the support parts 27 prevent respective secondary batteries 13-18 from moving in a radial direction thereof. The reinforcing rib 29 abuts edges of both electrode sides of the secondary batteries 13-18, so that movement of the secondary batteries in their axial direction is hindered. An opening 30 is formed on the circuit board 19 and a thermistor 31 is mounted in this opening 30. An earth terminal 25 connected to negative electrodes of the secondary batteries is provided on a case lid 11.
