To effectively reduce power consumption of a battery while reliably monitoring a battery condition during a period from immediately after the end of discharge to a power tool until the battery is stabilized.
In a battery pack, after the end of discharge to a tool body (S220:NO), when the following respective conditions are all established, the battery pack is switched to a sleep mode (S280). The respective conditions are: a condition that a change amount dT/dt of a cell temperature is smaller than 5°C and the temperature change is in a stable state (S240:YES); a condition that all battery cells constituting a battery are in a cell-voltage stable state in which a change amount dV/dt of the cell voltage of each battery cell becomes larger than -100 mV (S250:YES) and ≤0 (S260:YES); and a condition that the cell temperature is lower than 60°C and the temperature is in a stable state (S270:YES).
