Abstract:
PURPOSE: To realize a battery power storage system which has a high energy density at a low cost, can be reduced in size and perform an independent operation.
CONSTITUTION: In a system in which an AC/DC converter 3 is connected to a non-lead secondary cell 4 and connected to a power system 1 through a breaker 2, a starting lead storage battery 8a or a CR circuit is connected as a starting power source of an auxiliary machine 5 to be operated with the cell 4 in parallel with the cell 4, and switches 7, 9 to be switched in response to operating conditions by a switching controller 10, are respectively provided in the cell 4 and the battery 8a or the CR circuit.
