Title:
BATTERY CHARGE/DISCHARGE POWER SUPPLY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2680533
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a highly accurate high response battery 'charge/discharge power supply in which ripple is suppressed in the current being fed.
CONSTITUTION: The battery charge/discharge power supply comprises a rectifier 1 for converting the three-phase AC power supply voltage VAC. into a DC output voltage Vbc1. through a bridge circuit of current switch elements which can be controlled both on the power supply side and the power absorbing side, and a current output section 5 receiving the output from the rectifier 1 and controlling the output current. A voltage setter 13 adds a constant voltage to a detected value E of a battery 8 to be tested connected with the output terminal of the power supply. A voltage set value V' thus added is employed as a command for controlling the output voltage vDC1 of the rectifier 1 at a constant level thus controlling the output current from the current output section 5.
