Abstract:
To provide a protector capable of appropriately protecting a secondary battery such as a lithium ion battery.
This protector 100 is provided with a case 110 formed from an insulated resin, first and second conductive leads 130, 140 attached to the case 110, a bimetallic element 170 electrically connecting between the first and second conductive leads 130, 140, a cover 120 formed from the insulated resin and attached to the case 110, and a metal plate 160 at least partially included in the cover 120 and formed from a material different from the cover 120. A projected principal surface 162 is formed in the metal plate 160.
