Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery system controller capable of dispersing heat evolution approximately equalized in a pair of semiconductor switches.SOLUTION: A main FET and sub FET are connected in series between a pair of batteries so that forward directions of parasitic diodes are reverse to each other. When controlling the main FET and sub FET from OFF to ON, a switch control circuit supplies, as gate voltage, gradually varying voltage that gradually increases before supplying constant voltage VP as the gate voltage. At this time, the switch control circuit makes gradually varying voltage to be supplied to the sub FET connected to the low voltage side of the pair of batteries be lower than gradually varying voltage to be supplied to the main FET connected to the high voltage side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
