Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a working space around a battery which is required when a battery terminal is fastened to a battery post.SOLUTION: A battery terminal 1 includes a penetration plate 26 which is disposed to penetrate from one end portions of annular portions 24a, 25a through slits 24d, 25d to the other end portions, a fastening bolt 27 which is supported in a screw hole 26b provided on the other end portion 26d of the penetration plate so as to be rotatable in the axial direction, and a spacer 28 which is disposed to come into contact with the annular portion from the other end portion 26d side of the penetration plate 26, and converts fastening force F1 in the axial direction occurring in connection with rotation of the fastening bolt 27 around the axial direction into press force F2 for pressing the annular portion from the long-side direction. The penetration plate 26 is disposed to penetrate through the gap C between the pair of annular portions 24a, 25a. The pair of annular portions 24, 25a have protrusion portions 33a, 33b as gap reducing portions for reducing the gap C at at least a part of the penetration area of the penetration plate 26.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
