Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery and a vehicle driving device that are superior in heat radiation and that can be applied to a storage battery in which the output is enhanced.
SOLUTION: This is a battery box 10 wherein rod battery modules 12 in which plural batteries 13 are connected in series are arranged in plural rows having a prescribed distance and wherein heat pipes 17 are arranged between the battery modules 12. The surface of the battery modules 12 is covered with insulating tubes 40, and these battery modules 12 are housed in a sleeve 30 in a state that they are made contacted with the heat pipes 17.
