Abstract:

To provide a battery which is small-sized and has excellent electrochemical characteristics, and a technology for manufacturing the battery with excellent productivity.

A negative electrode active material layer formed between a negative electrode collector layer 11 and a solid electrolyte layer 13 is made into line-and-space structure in which a plurality of line-shaped patterns 121 extending in a Y direction are disposed while being spaced apart from each other. At a contact point P where the line-shaped pattern 121, the negative electrode collector layer 11 and the solid electrolyte layer 13 are brought into contact with one another, a gradient θ of a line-shaped pattern surface is made smaller than 90°, thereby configuring a battery of which the capacity with respect to the quantity of active materials to be used is great and charging/discharging characteristics are also improved.
