PURPOSE: To easily perform electrical connection of a plurality of the batteries by storing a plurality of cells in a common case, and alternately providing positive and negative poles in line on external surfaces in both opposed sides of the external wall of the case.
CONSTITUTION: A battery 5 comprises six sealed type cells 5a, and each cell 5a is sealed with an electrode and an electrolyte to expose each electrode 17 of the positive and negative poles in a diagonal position in an upper part of the electrode. Six pairs of contact plates 18 are arranged by providing a space of thickness of the cell 5a, in a case C of the battery 5. The plate 18 is formed of an L-shaped metal plate of enriched elasticity, and a lower end part of this plate is placed facing to the outer from a rectangular hole 19 provided corresponding to a storage pitch of the cell 5, in a top surface of a protrusive streak 19 and a bottom surface of a groove 10 formed on a side wall of the battery 5. An exposed part of this plate is formed so that a side of a positive pole 18a is formed in a protrusive curve and a side of a negative pole 18b is formed in a recessed curve, and when each battery 5 is stored in a container 6, to one side surface of the cell 5a, the other side surface of a separate cell 5a is connected, to electrically connect each cell.
