Abstract:
To provide a battery warming-up device which can improve the efficiency in temperature control of a drive battery mounted to an electric automobile for a commercial car.SOLUTION: A battery warming-up device includes a pump 31 for circulating, in a cooling medium circulation circuit 3, a cooling medium which exchanges heat with a battery 5 that supplies electric power to a motor for driving a vehicle, and a pump control part that controls the temperature of the battery by controlling the pump. The battery is arranged in the vehicle more backward than a cab that is supported by a vehicle forward portion of a ladder frame forming the vehicle, and the pump is arranged near the battery. The pump control part, when the battery is under a condition of being discharged or charged, controls the pump to keep the battery warm by the exhaust heat collected from the battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
